My name is Elizabeth, though most know me as Bizzy—a childhood nickname that reflects my vibrant, dynamic journey through life. I've navigated divorce, embraced sobriety for over 18 years, become an empty nester, moved homes and states, and found love again in a beautiful new marriage. Now in my 50s, I’m living with a renewed sense of purpose and passion for guiding others through their own transformative experiences.
After earning a degree in Communications from George Washington University/Mount Vernon College, I began my career at a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia and as a guest host at QVC, where I thrived in front of the camera and discovered my love for public speaking. Yet, my relationship with alcohol nearly derailed everything.
Sobriety changed my life. It opened doors I never imagined, leading me to become a certified Recovery Coach in 2013. I found immense fulfillment in supporting families and marriages through the challenges that addiction and life transitions often bring. After taking a long hiatus, I’m back, coaching individuals and families as they navigate life’s hurdles—from recovery and relationship struggles to embracing new beginnings.
My passion for connection and authenticity inspired me to launch "Let’s Talk," where I shared my journey publicly to break the stigma surrounding alcoholism. Today, I continue this mission through my podcast, Conversations with Bizzy, where I highlight stories of hope, resilience, and transformation. From women who’ve started their own businesses to individuals taking bold risks, every conversation centers around life, love, and finding the light within.
The Spoonbill, my logo, symbolizes the peace we all seek—a peace I believe is only possible through connection to a higher power.
